Neurodiversity Pride Day 2026 with Lyla's Story
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3 to join us in celebrating Neurodiversity Pride Day with your students
Why we created this project:
Working in education, we know it can be a challenge to create inclusive activities for all types of brains and to talk about different needs in the classroom.
That's why we created this opportunity, along with everything you'll need, to get involved with NPD, celebrate your unique class, and have the chance to win some prizes too!
What you will get:
Along with the picture book Lyla's story, participants receive a specially made interactive resource, activity pack, and extra prompts and ideas to get involved in a way that would work best for each unique class - all designed by teachers, for teachers.
Email your interest and any questions to: catshampson@gmail.com
Register now to join us and do the three!
Just email me, Cats, at the above address.

Have your class featured here !
Using the resources, you can create your class's unique butterfly and have it featured here along with other schools across Aotearoa New Zealand -celebrating the importance of difference.
Every entry will go in the draw to win prizes for your school !
Entries close Friday 21 August 2026.
Check out the beautiful entries from our last event below!
NPD 2026 and beyond!
Your class can use these resources and activities far beyond Neurodiversity Pride Day.
Their flexibility and interactivity mean you can use them at any time, all year round, and over and over again!
Once you have them, they're yours to use in whatever way works best for your unique class.
Registrations are open now - email me to get your pack ! Entries for the competition open on Monday 15th of June and close Friday 21st of August, 2026.
